Just seen a post that Ronald Jones has passed away today. I had got to sit down with him a couple of times over the years. Now with him and the passing of Sammy not long ago. My drop side panel got a little bit more special tonight. RIP Ron.

YOU KNOW FRENCHIE, WE VE BEEN GREIVING FOR 50 YEARS. WHO EVER IS UP ABOVE SURE PUT A LOAD ON US. PEOPLE WHO WERENT IN THE NAM WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND US. THEY KEEP REFERING TO OTHER WARS THEYLL NEVER BE A SHITHOLE LIKE THEY DUMPED US IN. IM NOT COMPLAIGNG WE DID THE BEST WE COULD, NOW WERE WATCHING OUR BROTHERS FADE AWAY I WANT A BETTER TRIBUTE TO THEM AND THEIR FAMILY. ILL BET YOU COULDNOT RECREUIT BETTER MEN THAN WE HAD IN THE NAM. WE DIDNT HAVE ALL THE GPS BULLSHIT THEY HAVE NOW. IM PROUD OF OUR FORCES NOW, DONT GET ME WRONG BUT THEY HAVE SHORT CHANGED US FOREVER. IM PISSED.

Jonesz will certainly be missed by all. I have him in my notes as being in Nam 69/70 and in the 352nd and 233rd TC, Long Binh as a 5 ton and jeep driver. Does anyone know if that is correct?
